This card holder is made from the finest Shell Cordovan horsehide. The edges are left open, meaning they are sanded, sealed, and polished in several steps. While this type of processing is elaborate, it prevents fraying of the edges, ensuring they remain beautiful for years.
This high-quality card holder is crafted with passion and by hand in our Bonn manufactory.

Product care

1. Avoid Moisture
Leather is sensitive to water. Therefore, the card case should always be protected from moisture, as water can dry out the leather and affect its flexibility and color. Moisture can lead to deformation and cracks.

2. Drying
If the leather does get really wet, it should be wiped dry and air-dried. Avoid direct sunlight or hot heating sources, as these can dry out and harden the leather.

3. Leather Care
Leather needs regular moisture to stay supple and soft. Use a leather care product specifically for Shell Cordovan horsehide (e.g., Cordovan Pomade), which nourishes and protects the material. Apply the product sparingly with a soft cloth and polish it to a shine after application.
